Have fun designing, decorating and flying your very own kite! Your kit includes a printable designed by artist Huia Hamon (Ngāti Porou), which you can trace onto the kite paper before adding your own colours and creative touches.

Once your kite is decorated, take it outside and see it soar! A fun, hands-on craft that’s perfect for celebrating Matariki and learning through creativity.

Kit includes:

• Triangle wood frame
• Baking paper
• 6 feathers
• 2 meter of twine (per kite)
• Printable

You will need:

• Felt tip pens, Paint or Paint Pens
  

Finished size is 13cm x 13 wide

This craft is great for all ages, but younger children may need help tying knots. 

Contains small parts - not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
