Let's make a Gnome Home!

Let's make a Gnome Home!

This Gnome Home is so much fun to make and decorate!

We've used a creative water paint technique to paint the gnome home, but you could use felt tip pens too.

You will need:

1. First, tape your printable to the desk using painters tape. This stops the card buckling when it dries!

2. Next, use your brush to paint some water onto the roof. Then place some watercolour on your brush, and gently dab this onto the roof. This will mean it creates lots of patterns and blend nicely together. Paint the rest of the icons on the printable, and wait until it's dry.

3. Next, cut out all your icons and shapes. Cut some grass into the base by cutting little triangles all the way around.

4. Put the stalk together by taping or gluing the two sides together so it forms a cone. Repeat with the roof.

5. Now glue your little icons such as the gnome, tree, door, window and presents onto the stalk. You can also add some gems if you like. Glue pom poms onto the roof!

6. Now glue the the stalk to the base, and the roof to the stalk, and you're all done!

We'd love to see your photos if you've made this project!
