Let's Make a Daffodil for Daffodil Day!
Share
Daffodil Day is this Friday, 30 August 2024. Why not make these cute daffodil and decorate with items you can find yourself?
This is such a fun craft – simply colour in the flowers yellow (or white!), cut out, stick together then find something round and yellow/white for the centre! It could be a bottle cap, a cupcake liner, a button, or anything else you can find!
Daffodil Day is our New Zealand’s chance to work together and change the experience of cancer for every New Zealander. We all know someone affected by cancer and the toll this takes on them and their friends and whānau. Give a donation today at www.daffodilday.org.nz.
You will need:
- A sheet of white card
- Our Daffodil Day Printable
- Scissors
- Colouring in pens
- Found items such as bottlecaps, buttons etc.
Instructions:
- First, print out our Free Printable onto white card.
- Colour in the flowers yellow, or you can leave white if you like. You can also trace these onto baking paper to make more, or different sizes!
- Now cut out the flowers, and use glue to paste on pom poms, bottle caps, cupcake liners, or anything else you can imagine that would like like the centre of a flower!
- Take a photo and show us where you hung up your daffodils!
Don’t forget to donate to www.daffodilday.org.nz to support those living with cancer.
