- Glue or sticky tape
How to Get Started
First, download your free Paper House Printable template. For the best results, we recommend printing it on light card so your buildings are sturdy and long-lasting.
Next, it’s time to get creative! Ask your child to decide what kind of building they’d like to make. Will it be a cosy house, a busy fire station, a sweet little bakery, or maybe a colourful florist or shop? The possibilities are endless.
Now olour in the template. Bright, bold, pastel, patterned—anything goes! Then carefully cut out your house along the dotted lines.
Fold along the grey lines as well as the tabs. Hint - use a ruler to help you crease straight lines!
Then glue or use sticky tape on the tabs to assemble the building.

Now for the fun part—decorating! Cut out the windows, doors, and signs… or even create your own unique details. Maybe your shop has a striped awning, or your house has a rainbow door!
Why stop at one? Create a whole collection of buildings and design your very own neighbourhood.
