You will need:
- Paints or pens

Useful tips:
- Blow up the balloon once first to stretch it out before building your car and securing it to the straw.
- Make sure there is air coming out of the balloon through the straw; if not – experiment to get more air flow!
- You may find that pushing the straw slightly down towards the ground helps.
- Tie the rubber band on the balloon tightly!
- When blowing up the balloon, try not to squash the straw. Instead, hold onto the small wood disk that’s on the straw.
If the toothpicks are snapping off in the wheels, try making the hole in the wheel and the axl slightly bigger with a pin, and using a small amount of glue to secure the toothpick. - For best results, us on a hardwood floor and avoid carpet flooring.
